The cottage is approached from the lane via a timber five bar gate that opens to a gravelled drive, which opens into parking and with access to the paddock. A gate to the side of the cottage opens to a path leading to the rear garden. The garden has been landscaped with different areas of interest starting with a paved seating area outside of the conservatory. A gate opens to a lawn with curving edges and well stocked shrub and flower beds. There is a barbecue area, two ponds, duck pen with pond, two poly tunnels and vegetable beds. At the bottom of the garden there are stable and access to the paddock. The garden is approximately half an acre.

Leave the town via Bridge Street, at the traffic lights continue over the bridge and turn right onto the A357 heading towards Sherborne.
