This is currently arranged for catering use with kitchen area, preparation room and office plus potential for a cloakroom. There is separate access plus a door from the main house's entrance hall. If required, this area could easily be converted to an annexe for a dependent relative or as a rental for income. There is also the opportunity to purchase the existing catering business. Figures will be available for those who might be looking to go down this route.
There is a large parking area with space for at least ten vehicles plus storage for caravan, boat or horse box. The main garden lies to the other side of the house and is primarily laid to lawn with gravelled borders - ideal for pot plant display. There is a swimming pool, timber cabin (available by separate negotiation) and a hard standing at the bottom of the garden.
The property lies just a mile from the Somerset village of Henstridge and enjoys plenty of rural views from the front and rear. Henstridge offers a couple of public houses and a restaurant/takeaway, it also has the benefit of a local shop with post office and primary school. There is a lot of social activity taking place in the village hall, as well as a bus service available to towns nearby. The small town of Stalbridge is only about a mile away with further facilities such as dentist surgery and supermarket. The larger town of Sherborne is eight miles away. The village has good communication links from London to the West Country and Templecombe and Sherborne both have a mainline train station.
